Fulfilling Your Purpose in Life...

In Matthew 23: 11-12 Jesus tells us "The greatest among you will be your servant. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted."

We are made for a purpose. Each and everyone of us has a special purpose in life, and we are expected to fulfill that purpose. The crowning jewel of Creation was man himself. He was created for a distinct purpose. If the purpose is lived out, life is fulfilling. If the purpose is rejected or ignored, life will never be what it was meant to be. Apart from the Creator's purpose, you and I are life a light bulb lying in a meaning less state. We need to fit into the Creator's original design, plugging into the power source- our relationship with HIM- if our lives are to be what they were meant to be. -Anna Graham Lotz.

Some times we want other things for our lives, we think we have it all planned out from minute to minute. But, do we ever stop and ask God is that what we wants us to do or does he have something BETTER planned for us? Luke 22:42 says "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet NOT MY WILL, BUT YOURS BE DONE" Jeremiah 29:11 also says "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." As you can see, God repeatedly tells us that he will shall be done. He has great plans for us, but how can we fulfill those purposes that HE HAS CREATED FOR US, is we are too busy fulfilling the purposes we made for our own selves. We often get "mad" or "angry" at God, but he IS A PERFECT GOD and makes mistakes!

I believe that God made my brother physically disabled for A PURPOSE. Don't be mad at God when things don't go the way you wanted them to! Have faith in him. He never promised that the cross would not get heavy, but he did promise that he would not give you more than you can handle! Be the passenger in your life, and let God take the lead!
